All of the projects we've shown you so far on our website have been renovation projects. This one is different as it is a new build!

A few years ago we found a gem of an old small farmhouse to renovate in the municipality of Wahl, up in the north-western part of Luxembourg. The original house as you can see it when you swipe, dated back to 1776 (before the French Revolution!), making it one of the oldest houses of the village. Our goal was to keep most of its character alive during the renovation process.

Ernster was a challenging project, because of the generally low quality of the masonry. However, the location of the building in a well preserved village context stirred our energy to transform it.

So far the largest and most complex project we did. The building, a traditional farm house, is classified under patrimonial historic building laws and dates back from the beginning of the 19th century.
