Ernster
Ernster was a challenging project, because of the generally low quality of the masonry. However, the location of the building in a well preserved village context stirred our energy to transform it.
We achieved a nice combination of traditional elements (the basement reintegrates reused parts of the former building) with contemporary elements (a contemporary wooden veranda opening on a garden was added at the back, creating a welcomed inflow of light into the living room).
