Buschrodt

A few years ago we found a gem of an old small farmhouse to renovate in the municipality of Wahl, up in the north-western part of Luxembourg. The original house as you can see it when you swipe, dated back to 1776 (before the French Revolution!), making it one of the oldest houses of the village. Our goal was to keep most of its character alive during the renovation process. 

We finished and sold the lovely small renovated farmhouse in 2021. 

The challenge in this house was the rather small space but working with a lot of open spaces, we managed to increase its habitable volume and create a spacious feel all throughout the house. Despite of this contemporary approach to the interior space, we kept its cosy atmosphere from old days.
